Senior Softball Player Signs to Play for Thomas More Next Year

On Wednesday May 12, senior Kassee Florea signed on to play softball with the Thomas More Saints. Florea says she’s been playing softball since age five. This year she was awarded First Team GGCL. “I love everything about softball,” she said.

“Kassee has been a superb asset to our team,” said friend and teammate Sarah Stentz. Kassee says its friends like these along with Coach Dick Arszman and her family that influence her to be her best. Florea’s mom, Gail Florea said that Florea is very committed to her sport. “We’re very proud of her as a daughter and a player,” said Mrs. Florea.

Florea will be majoring in psychology with a minor in biology next year as she begins her incredible journey

Florea joins classmates Solomon Tentman, Jorian Hudson, Jordan Jatzek and Jake Rose as athletes who have been awarded college athletic scholarships.
